Carey Baptist College is seeking a passionate, highly skilled, and adaptable Christian Primary Physical Education Teacher to join our team commencing in January 2027. This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE position.

With knowledge of contemporary co-curricular practices, the Physical Education teacher will inspire a safe, engaging and challenging atmosphere, whilst promoting the College's vision, policies and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching, assessment and reporting of the Western Australian Physical Education Curriculum for students in Years 1-6.

• Developing, managing, evaluating and revising School sporting programs.

• Planning and coordinating all facets of intra-school House competitions and events, including Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country carnivals.

• Managing all facets of inter-school competition for Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.

• Planning, organising and managing Swimming Lessons as part of the Physical Education program.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Experience in managing Physical Education programs
• Expert knowledge of sporting programs – intra-school and inter-school
• Ability to motivate staff and students to influence the direction of sporting programs
• Ability to operate as a Team leader in a supportive, collaborative and inclusive manner.
