If you’ve built a solid foundation in HR and are ready to take on more ownership, this is an opportunity to step into a broader operational role and contribute meaningfully to how HR is delivered across the organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the HR Operations Lead, this role sits at the centre of day-to-day HR delivery. You’ll be involved in the moments that shape how people experience Carey. You’ll be part of a small, experienced HR team that values clarity, responsiveness and professional standards. There is support around you, but also a clear expectation that you take ownership, think things through, and follow matters to completion.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing timely and professional support to employees and leaders across a broad range of HR matters, ensuring queries are handled with clarity, consistency and sound judgement
- Preparing accurate and compliant employment documentation, including contracts, variations and lifecycle correspondence, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth, well-managed experience for both candidates and employees
- Maintaining the integrity of HR systems and employee records, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and reliable for reporting and decision-making
- Delivering clear, practical guidance on HR processes, policies and employment conditions, building confidence in HR services across the organisation
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for HR enquiries, ensuring matters are resolved appropriately or referred to the relevant HR team member when required
- Supporting injury management and return-to-work processes, ensuring documentation, communication and follow-up are handled effectively
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience
This role plays an important part in maintaining a consistent and professional HR service, supporting both operational delivery and the broader employee experience across Carey.
