If you're a passionate and qualified Languages educator with a heart for primary students and a desire to shape the future through both language and love, Carey Baptist College – Forrestdale Campus would love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dynamic, Part-Time (0.6FTE) Primary Languages Teacher to join our Forrestdale Campus team with the chance of becoming Full-Time across Primary and Secondary from the beginning of 2026. While our school has previously delivered Indonesian, we’re open to any major international language – including but not limited to Mandarin, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, or Japanese.
What matters most is your passion for teaching, your commitment to your faith, and your desire to build an engaging and inspiring Languages program that grows with our campus community. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how Languages are taught at Carey Forrestdale, with support from a collaborative and values-driven team.
This opportunity is available to commence on 15 August 2025, by negotiation. We welcome applications from new graduates as well as experienced teachers ready for a new challenge in a Christ-centred environment.
What You Will Bring:
- A strong sense of Christian faith and purpose, with the ability to actively support and uphold the College’s Statement of Faith and values.
- Proficiency in a major international language and a deep love for language learning and cultural understanding.
- A recognised teaching qualification and current registration (or eligibility) with the TRBWA.
- A creative and inclusive approach to curriculum design and delivery, ideally with experience in primary education.
- A willingness to build relationships across the school community and contribute to the spiritual and co-curricular life of the College.
- A desire to inspire and lead students on their learning journey in a way that supports their development both academically and spiritually.
