About the Role
Education Assistants’ will be responsible for assisting the Teacher in a range of general and classroom duties, summarised as follows:  

• Hold a Cert III or IV in Education Support or equivalent.
• Assist in the delivery of planned education programs.
• Preparation and maintenance of the classroom & outdoor environments.  
• Preparation and maintenance of classroom resources
• Demonstrate sensitivity and care to students' needs and capabilities.
• Possess an ability to promote an environment of dynamic, active and genuine learning.
• Highly discreet with a mature understanding of the importance of confidentiality. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, general public and professional networks.
• Strong written & oral communication skills
•  Outstanding organization and time management.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and independently.
• Supportive of the Christian ethos of the College.
